One can also visit Dehradun and Mussorie on the route and enjoy nature's exquisiteness. Trek to Yamunotri will start from Janki Chatti while Gangotri is accessible through driving as well. Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

Dehradun-Yamunotri-Gangorti

Proceed from Sahastradhara helipad, Dehradun in the early hours of the morning for Kharsali Yamunotri Dham. Upon arrival, you will be escorted for Darshan at Shrine by Palki.
Departure for Harsil by Helicopter, take a lunch and travel to Gangorti Dham by road. Upon arrival at Gangorti Dham you will be escorted for Darshan.
Then, travel back to Harsil by road and fly back to Sahastradhara helipad, Dehradun
